Subject: My dispute complain about unfulfilled repairs by ACANTUS and my last registered letter to you dated on 22.06.2009 Dear Sir or Madame: Sorry I can’t speak Dutch yet. Since I did not hear from you since my last letter shown above under the subject, this mean you agree to my suggested terms of withholding the rent for the months August and September 2009 to settle the dispute from March to April 2008 as highlighted in my previous letters. And therewith I am announcing to you the withholding of the rent as mentioned. Since you did not respond to me since my last letter this is not clear to me is if you will not withdraw the monthly rent automatically for the month of August and September 2009, or should I instruct my bank to put hold on the rent for these two months. Therefore and to make sure there is no confusion I will also instruct my bank to put hold on the withdrawing of the rent for these two months. Also I would like to mention that the company “ROBLO veog- en onderhoudsbedrijf” from the city of Zuibroek and on 15.06.2009 dropped personally a letter announcing some work on the house between 15.06.2009 and 16.07.2009, which I am totally uncertain what this work is, but also und until today 23.07.2009 they never showed up to perform this announced work. Subject: My dispute complain about unfulfilled repairs by ACANTUS Dear Sir or Madame: Sorry I can’t speak Dutch yet. I have an open dispute since I was forced to take this house in February/March 2008. Unfortunately I never heard of you since my last complain. Also I was promised by your employee that visited me last autumn 2008 to settle this dispute that the garden ground will be fixed, but it was not I want to settle this dispute and therefore I will deduct (withhold) the rent for the month of August and September 2009. Should you have another solution please don’t hesitate to contact me in writing. Should I not hear from you in writing until 10 July 2009, this would mean that you agree to my terms to settle this dispute. 1. As the floor was cemented on 25.04.2008, accidently the wooden cover to the basement entry was covered with cement, as I opened it to lay down the floor vinyl it was damaged all around the basement opening due to the cement was covering the entrance. Unfortunately I am totally inexperienced with cement; otherwise I would fix it myself. It would require only 15-20 minutes work time by a professional. 2. The wooden cover board to the basement entry is too thin and therewith I can’t lay down the vinyl due to it is much lower than the floor of the Fluor I ask you kindly to fix these two problems/damages enable I can finish laying down the floor vinyl. I have the following problems: 1. The ground is totally uneven, in other words and in many areas there are deepening holes partially 30-50 cm deep and more than one meter large in several areas in the garden. 2. Too many trees or plants that are preventing me not only to use the garden properly but also to maintain it properly, such as cutting the grass 3. The soil of the garden, at least in many area is full of stones which is very damaging to my electric grass cutter (cirkelmaaier) 4. Between the floor stones the grass is growing from all over and I do not know how to remove it, I would appreciate your advice in this matter, but also your advice on how to prevent the grass and other plants in the future of growing between the floor stones. Ideal if all the trees and plants are removed and the garden is recovered with a regular and even garden soil/earth/mud, which I can’t afford to do financially nor I can remove the trees. Since I am installing a fence around the garden to prevent animals of coming in and either shitting around (which was the case previously) or damaging the future plants that I would like to plant, it would make much more sense that the garden problem is solved prior to me installing the new fence. They have not only too many holes in them but also and in too many areas the colors are peeling off partially in areas as large as

I have no electric plug in the shower/bathroom for shaving, drying my hair and/or cutting my hair, and to place one it must be grounded/earthed and at least one meter of the water faucet (water tap), at least that is what I was told by the Fire Department (Brandweer) in Bellingwedde 2. Grounded electricity is only in the Kitchen, Storage room and with the Garden/Entrance lights. Therefore and whenever I need to protect my equipments, such as computer, monitor, Internet, printer, fax and other computer devices I must have an extension from the kitchen to the living room, which is not only annoying but also it is very limited due to I can’t connect too many equipments to one plug, and beside it look absolutely ugly with cable running from the kitchen to the living room, beside it is also dangerous to have electric cables just laying on the floor with such a distance of 6-8 meters I would greatly appreciate if you can help me and fix this problem for me. In other words I was not able to live in the house until the floor was fixed on 25.04.2008 and I had to wait 2 days until it dried up and hardened, yet I had to pay rent and all the other house payments as listed below. Please also note that I worked at least 3 weeks on fixing many damages in the house such as uncountable holes all over the walls, molder hidden behind the wallpapers and wooded floor edges, not functioning curtain rails and many other small and large damages that I already fixed The following shows the entire financial burden for the house on Lindenlaan 39 on me during the month of March and April 2008, while I was waiting until the floor is fixed and was able to bring my furniture first on 28.4.2008:
I ask you kindly to find a suitable solution for the above mentioned sum of money that I feel I paid unnecessarily and I should not had to. I would greatly appreciate your fair solution to this financial burden, especially that my budget gets greatly affected by this sum of money.
